This one was definitely better than the first and I think I give that credit to Jacob who is by far the best character to come out of this series so far I like how the author kept him very secretive literally up until the last minute I don t think there was really one thing I didn t like about him. Now, as for everyone elseI like PJ, he s entertaining and always good for a laugh Amber, I really just don t get Chad no comment Drea hmph.h and worst friend ever I don t think my opinion of her is eve [...]

Reading this book is like reading the first one in the series, blue is for nightmares The same plot and characters, just changing names and a couple of things That made me read really slow, as I was not interested in what is going to happen later At least at the end, I recovered the interest for it and have a moment in there The relationship between of Stacey with her boyfriend, mum or best friend was not developed or explained properly at all Hopefully, the third one is going to be better and I [...]

I have read this ages ago, and Ihave only a vague memory of liking it I saw this in bookstore today and thought it would be interesting to read it again I ll write an actual review as soon as I reread the series

I was worried about reading this since it s been so long since I read the first book, but everything was recapped very nicely White is for Magic is a great sequel and carries on the story easily The characters are crazy and amazing, and it all felt really believable While I m not a fan of romance, I like how it was done in this book It didn t feel rushed at all like most young adult novels these days The plot was captivating and interesting I m excited to read the rest of the series.

This and other reviews can be found on The Psychotic NerdMY THOUGHTSThis is going to sound very odd, but this series is like thriller candy I enjoy reading these books This book is the sequel to Blue is for Nightmares and Stacey cannot get a break. After the murders and nightmares of last year, Stacey is dating Chase and trying at a sense of normalcy But then the nightmares return This time, it focuses of her past On the girl she babysat once, but dies, and the girl who died last year Stacey has [...]

This book was alright Not quite as good as the first in my opinion, but okay enough I m going to be completely honest here and say that going into this series, I had such high hopes for it, and while there s nothing actually wrong with the storyline, or the writing or anything like that just seems to me like it falls short I can t exactly put my finger on what it is that the book is lacking, and while I want to love it, I really do I just can t There are some parts in the story where I just find [...]

What would you do if one of your friends has really bad nightmares and suffering from that all night Stacey Brown is the one who has really bad nightmares and can predict the future A year before, Stacey Brown had saved her best friend, Drea, from a death through the nightmares Now, she is having nightmares again about something One day, she meet guy named Jacob And he said he is from Colorado and having nightmares about Stacey so he moved to here, where Stacey lives, to save her First time, Sta [...]

Ugh.This is one of the few books where I just said to myself ok, that s it I give up and tossed it away.I stumbled accross the third book of the series Silver Is for Secrets months ago, not knowing it was part of a series and I loved it I even cried at the end of it and I don t crythateasily So I decided I might aswell give the entire series a try Worst idea I ve ever had The first book was OK, I ll give Stolarz this, the storyline was exciting, the characters were not the most interesting but w [...]

Great book Gives a lot of interesting details about spells and so separates itself from other teen books with an unusually gifted teenager Loved the inclusion of Jacob The book wraps you up in its mystery so that you re racing to get to the end, just like the first one The killer s easier to pick out in this one than in the first book, though. The one thing I have a beef with is that being a Christian, I hate seeing God s name uncapitalized If an author doesn t believe in God and doesn t want to [...]

The first book of the series, Blue is for Nightmares, was okay I found this novel to be basically a rehash of the first one, in terms of plot and character growth Most of it dragged along and I found myself wanting to skip entire sections, particularly the extreme detail the author put into Stacey s New Age rituals I suppose the book would be appealing to junior high school students who also have an interest in Wicca The ending was so obvious that I ended up skimming over it yes, even during th [...]

I read Blue is for Nightares like 3 4 year ago I ve been wanting to get ahold of these books but haven t been able to Finally I picked it up yesterday and started reading it This book was amazing I wasn t sure how I was going to manage with it being so long ago having read the frst book, but I found no problems Anything I may have forgotten was mentioned in this book and I wasn t feeling lost I still think Stacy is a basic white girl name though It just makes me laugh. This series is perfect to r [...]

Spoilers Literally the exact same storyline as the first book, the climax even happens in the same location I was really hoping this would be better then the first but the author just slapped some new characters in a reused the plot from the first The whole dating the best friends ex boyfriend thing was just as annoying as it was in the first book, seriously what friend does that And the mystery person who is tormenting stacey was stupid Why the hell make the stalker someone random who s really [...]

Awesome read I know it s only three stars but I have come to realize that it takes a lot to get a five star The thing should be a work of art to get a five Three means I really enjoyed it still It was better than the first I love the introduction of Jacob I think he is an awesome character for Stacey The struggle between her and her attacker was well written and believable Dream still annoys the living daylights outta me Australian be a bitch of a friend and this book she is the same Love Amber [...]

I m going to stop reading this I ve decided I don t really care about the characters or their ridiculous teen angst any I don t really care for the writing style either I m pretty certain that Stacey s so called BFF is trying to steal her old boyfriend back from Stacey, that Stacey will end up with Jacob and that the ending will be as stupidly rushed as in the last book It s like getting to the point of the end takes forever drawing out the suspense but the actual climax is so rushed, it s unsat [...]

I ABSOLUTELY love this series but in this book Stacy needs to get a grip and stop being so Damn selfish I mean really if she would stop trying to figure out every little detail to her nightmares she could try to actually figure out hte big picture And is she trying to completely ruin any chances she has at a normal life Every single time she gets into a fight with Chad and Drea she storms off, concerned with saving her own butt when she has completely no idea who s trying to kill her Shouldn t [...]

Well this sequel felt exactly like the first book Everything that happened in this book seemed to be the exact same as the first one, just with the details changed The whole book felt like a waste of time to me since I d heard this story before Also in this book a new character, Jacob, is introduced, but I feel like at the end of the story you still really know nothing about him Hardly any background information is given to you about him, and by the end of the book I had no idea what Jacob s per [...]

I thought this book is really interesting This book is the second book of the Blue is for Nightmares series I thought this book was good because of where the story took place and it was really similar to the first book so I knew that I would like this book Even though it wasn t as good as the first book, I still liked it because of all the twist and turns in the book It made the book interesting and really captures me into it like that.

    18. AH on said:

This book started off a little slow for me, but maybe it s because I read this book before Blue is for Nightmares The main character suffers from recurring nightmares, followed by bouts of projectile vomiting.Once I got over the grossness of the vomiting, the story began to pick up the pace and it was very difficult to put the book down The last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat and I was satisfied with the ending.I would rate it a 3.5, but that option is not available.

One stalker down, another to go A nice sequel to Blue is for Nightmares, you can really see Stacey growing as a character as she meets new people, new things happen, and her love life even starts to bloom again A nice merge of magic, mystery, and that little touch of romance.

I like this series because the books are relatively short and the story is quick moving One thing I will say is that this book pretty much follows a similar plot line to the last story int he series, so on its own I think I would have liked it much better than as part of the series Which is ironic because yesterday I was talking with a friend how I do not like it as much when a series follows a formula in each book, making it very predictable I will continue on with this series as sometimes auth [...]

What is with the boyfriend stealing in this book I mean REALLY This book was a blur for me I couldn t keep concentrated I ended up just reading the end to put myself out of my misery Are all these books going to be the same Where she fights her powers, doesn t understand what s happening until she or one of her friends is about to die Because that plot line is going to get old fast I was so bored with this book I don t wanna read the rest of this series.

These books are gripping paranormal mysteries that are great for reluctant teen readers This series follows Stacey Brown, a young Wiccan with psychic powers Stacey learns to use her abilities in order to investigate crimes, missing persons, and complications that come up in her daily life As the series evolves Stacey graduates from high school, learns how to better harness her abilities, and sorts through her complicated love life Miss Emily

Laurie Faria Stolarz shows me that when you have a problem, it is better to talk to people about it instead of keeping it a secret and then bad things start to happen which could have been avoided It changed me by helping me picture something that could happen, not necessarily from this story line, by keeping secrets and now it makes me want to talk about things in my life rather than hide them.

Such a great spin off to Blue is for Nightmares This is definintley what I was imagining to happen.
