I m not sure I ve ever read such a crazy, intense, non stop, anxiety producing novelbut only in the best and most desirable way I didn t want it to end Once this book has you in it s grips, it won t let go I started it this morning and literally could not put it down My poor husband probably feels deprived Having received The Perfect Child free as a Kindle First February option, I honestly didn t have high expectations These freebie books are hit or miss for me Sometimes they re [...]

This sh t will stay with me forever This book was so amazingly haunting, in such a dark way I ll be looking over my shoulder for days and holding my family closer There s absolutely no doubt in my mind I won t be sleeping tonight This was an incredibly gripping read, if you re a fan of Rachel Caine s Stillhouse Lake, you re sure to love this book.

Gripping from the first sentence, what a roller coaster It is a heavy topic but goodness so well written it kept me glued to my kindle since the second I started reading. My heartstrings were pulled, a bit for every single character It is a heavy topic to read I enjoyed the style that information was brought to us, normally I dislike changing POV per chapter but this flowed very well.I am still rolling in emotions after the end of this book.

Pretty good, but It feels like quite a bit of the plot was stolen from Orphan. However, overall a decent book, although it would have been good to have a chapter or two from Janie s insight, and I found it fairly predictable.Well written with some interesting ideas though even if they aren t entirely original.

DisturbingSick of reading reviews where the word gripping is over used Unfortunately I was gripped by this tale Read it in an afternoon A melange of hope, grief, love, exhaustion and horrorall caused by one little girl Suspend your belief in the innocence of childhood.
