I took the book off the shelf in 2009 and have been using it as part of daily meditations ever since The idea is good a quote from the basic AA texts followed by a reflection by an AA member, but the selections could be better Still, it s worth using, if for no other reason than to be reminded everyday of the truths contained in the quote.

A well edited daily exposition on the steps of the world famous Alcoholics Anonymous program Each day is a brief statement about recovery and a member s exposition on it The pages for each month are primarily written to correspond with the step of the same number of the month The book is thought provking and inspiring.

This collection of meditations is unfortunate because the selection is incredibly weak I ve found that the soppy nature of the reflections has put me off, and I am unable to pick this book up again.

I started reading Daily Reflections with a friend on a Tuesday after reading Tuesdays with Morrie She had a collection of other meditations books I have added to my reading group Out About Recovery Forum I wanted to start prayer and meditation every morning to see if it worked, because I haven t added it to me routine consistently since I have been in recovery I read this book for two months after my husband died and stopped I gained some peace so I thought I would try it again.
