2018 Book 2 This one was on my list for this year and I can tell you it did not disappoint I chose the audio version and I m really glad I did since it was narrated by Sixx himself Although I m not an addict, I do believe that as broken people we are all recovering from something I found this book to be very honest, real, sad, hilarious, shocking, at times cliche, heartbreaking, fun, inspiring, and definitely rated R Basically all of the elements of good rock n roll I m thankful for second, thir [...]

The story of a Misogynistic, abusive, narcissistic, self destructive rock star I don t like Motley Cr e and I didn t like this book I wouldn t have finished the book if I hadn t been so stubborn After page 30 it was basically the same thing over and over until he died and came back to life like Jesus Why do we celebrate worship assholes

A diary by Motley Crue band member, Nikki Sixx s struggle with life of addiction I was not a big fan of this band and I like only a few songs When I heard about this book I was intrigued to read it He describes his deep, dark, twisted life of being an addict I feel his honesty and being candid will help others to see the powerlessness over this disease Kudos to you Nikki Sixx You are doing the Next Right Thing by writing and sharing your book

This book had a lot of hype about it but I found it to be repetitive and boastful As an addiction counselor I respect Nikki Sixx for what he has gone through and the struggle he has with addiction on a daily basis and if this book helps even one addict become sober it is a success For me it was not gripping and tended to drag on.

Cautionary Tale But remember just because Nikki survived this madness doesn t mean you will if you choose to go down his path.

Loved it Raw, disgusting, dirty, but a very honest and open look at a year in the life of a rock star as he spiraled out of control.

An excellent book I read it in a day because I literally could not put it down It chronicles the life of Nixxi Sixx and his struggle with drugs and alcohol He kept a diary during those years so the facinating part is that it is recalled as if we are right there, 30 years ago The strength to get and stay sober all these years is remarkable Nikki is nothing but completely honest about his life and struggles I highly recommend this compelling read
