Ali has had nightmares for as long as she can remember Nightmares so real she has a hard time telling them from reality She only has her best friend Jay to rely on to help her get through Until his sexy friend comes in the picture When Jay suddenly up and leaves, she has to rely on his friend to occupy her time As if things in her life hadn t been strange enough already, she finds out that things aren t what they seem What and who are real Who can she trust What happens when her past catches up [...]

I just started reading and immediately I was like who the hell are Ali and Jay and where are Mel and the guys and what the fuck is going on However, I did not dwell on those thought for long, because the writing was so good I just stopped caring that the story did not make much sense to me after a while I was just so engrossed in trying empasize on trying to figure out what was real and what was not and what was happening, that the lack of information did not bother me at all for some reason it [...]

I loved the first book This book was so confusing at first it took me literally 2 days to even get into the book I finally finished it Im happy we got some Mel POV in the end of the book I definitely do not like that they share Phoenix That just doesn t sit well with me Don t think the author should of did that part I think the book would of been better Maybe if he was like a big brother protector type of pull then that would of been different I like Ali and her mates It was a good book but just [...]

I was fortunate enough to be gifted a copy of this book And although it starts out dark and a bit different than the other one gave me a deeper perspective on Brandy s writing and her characters I appreciated the detail and world weaving I kept reading even when I was barely awake, lol I will continue to read this series and recommend it to other readers Great Job Brandy I love the book

Such a great series Love this series, but honestly, the first third of this book was crazy confusing trying to figure out exactly what was real and what wasn t There is no possible way you would know what as gong on if you hadn t read the first book It s definitely worth reading This one was just as thrilling and intriguing as Of Death and Darkness It was just a little harder to really connect with the characters, as it was confusing and there were so many new faces that instantly became importa [...]

Wow Book two of this series was awesome It s definitely a darker read than book one is with some real heart wrenching moments that the author has written so well I love when a book pulls on my emotions and In Dreams of Despair has definitely done that We have a different main lead in this book and whilst I missed reading from Mel s POV I really warmed to Ali straight away and she was a great character With a new lead, that means we get a new coven and some hot new men We also get to see many of [...]

I seriously think that Brandy Slaven can do no wrong, the second installment to the Lady of Darkness series is equally as good as the first and i am completely in love with a whole other harem, so not cool Brandy, too many men to add to my own Harem In Dreams of Despair we meet Ali, a young woman who is constantly plagued with dreams and nightmares so real that reality is somewhat distorted Thankfully, to help her get through the days is her best friend Jay, until jay decided to disappear In his [...]

I don t know how I could love this book as much as the first, but I do The beginning of the book starts out as getting to know Ali and her dreams Then, the book takes a serious turn Ali is a strong character that has been through a lot We see her push through her struggles and come out even stronger I love her determination and that I one of the things that make her real You can create a real connection to her We get to know her mates with a few twists along the way The ending is a killer There [...]

OH MY GOSH Never has a book confused me so much, and all by design I swear, the first 70% I was like wtf is going on here I have to admit, I expected the same type of storyline for a spinoff story Brandy blew that cliche thinking out of the water This was a totally original story that included the previous characters from book 1 And she ties together all your wtf moments in a nice little package Ali was a lovable character, as were every one of her guys And I loved Mel even in this one You don [...]

oh man, okay this book was giving me some mixed feels in the beginning I honestly love it now that I ve finished it but I had a slight problem understanding when the character speaking at the time was Ali or the other girl Its hard to explain without putting spoilers in this sorry But overall it was an amazing read and the little twists in it made it that much amazing I feel like you can really become Ali and feel what she is going through I will say that I have some issues with the flow of the [...]

Book two is just as good, if not better than the first book which is saying a lot as I LOVE the first one This story follows Ali, who spends all her time with her best friend Jay and she attends high school Life is good except for the dreams, which are almost lifelike. But things are not always as they seem as Ali soon finds out this is an extremely well written, exciting plotline with twist and turns and some suspenseful romance. This book has some of everything in it With awesome characters whos [...]

In book two of this series you start out with a different MC, who is struggling through torture and so you go back and forth between her real World and her dream World, which can be a little confusing at first, but you get some clarity as you go along Mel and her guys do show up as you go along so no need to worry about not seeing them right away The storyline for this one still kept an interesting flow though you have a few new characters brought in to track as you go along I would have liked [...]

Great readI received this book for free for an honest review so here goes I had a hard time putting this book down but unfortunately I had to sleep, and go to work I cried, laughed, wanted to scream especially when the book ended on a cliff hanger I m not sure how I feel about 2 women sharing a mate but it didn t put me off from enjoying this book Guess i just like the woman having the harem Lol There were a couple of typos but nothing major I can t wait for the next one to find out what happens [...]
