This was a YA contemporary story, with a bit of a murder mystery going on.Reed was an okay character in this, although I was surprised at how she stood up to Noelle I did feel sorry for her though following Thomas death. The storyline in this followed on from the previous book, with Reed understandably upset over her boyfriend s death, and we had the question over how Thomas had ended up dead was he murdered And if so, by whom This was an entertaining read though, and I liked the little twist we [...]

I find it so hard not to hate this series No, seriously I go into these books expecting to dislike the story and when I actually get a dislikeable story, I get even annoyed and disappointed than before I started It s a bad cycle so I wish this series would just surprise me already, so I can shake those bad expectations off But when you get 200 pages of Reed Brennan, I don t know how that will be possible. To put it simply, she s a brat and a lot , but I ll try and keep it PG It isn t very often [...]

If you were concerned with the pacing of Private and Invitation Only, you can rest easy The pace picks up, and this book finally casts away doubt as to whether this series is actually a murder mystery We start to form suspicions, and we get enough clues to compensate for the nothingness of the previous 2 books One of the things I was very concerned with was the pacing of Untouchable Nothing much happened in Private but I assumed the author was setting the scene, only to find the same thing happe [...]

This book is full of crappy metaphors for physiological sensations and a plot hell bent on setting up men like ducks in a row for Reed The author tries very hard to create a girl who is just so beautiful, and so respected even though she licked the floor to get into Billings but who just has NO idea how great and special she is Like anyone, even a protagonist in a fictional novel, is ever that much the center of attention Please.I don t remember Reed ever caring that much the DAY after Thomas le [...]

I haven t read any books in this series in quite some time, so it was hard to jump right back in However, Billings is just as compelling as before and I m looking forward to reading I will say that at times, the writing can come across as trivial and juvenile, and the characters can be annoying However, the plot makes up for it, especially with the mystery element.

Sadly, this one felt like it might just be a bridge between the last novel and the next one I listened to the audio version, and it was quite entertainingbut it didn t seem to have much of a story I kept waiting for the big thing, and it came, but at the very end in preparation for the next novel.

I ll admit it once again any book that takes place in a boarding school setting I ll get sucked into Unfortunately, the Private series is a ridiculously long and I don t know if I like it that mucht The protagonist Reed Brennan comes off as the most shallow person in the universe in the first two books, but in Untouchable, she actually has some nice moments She realizes her friends are her friends whether they re Billings Girls or not However, after the death of her boyfriend in the last book, i [...]

Yay Private is finally getting interesting Book 3 is the payoff for the setting up in books 1 and 2 The book opens with Thomas funeral and we learn that just about everyone believes he was murdered sidenote ok, so I guess the police are nosing around, but it seems weird that none of Thomas friends floated the possibility of him having ODed or died of alcohol poisoning or something After all, he was a drug dealer with a serious alcohol problem but whatever, I ll let that go And even though it see [...]
