      The main reason for getting this book was to obtain the cd of the Lynch benefit concert The interviews were good but on the whole just seemed like an extended advertisement for transcendental meditation.

      The benefit concert CD is great The photos from the show and the stills from Lynch s films are lovely The interviews and essays are okay Some fun stories, some decent commentary, but overall I hoped for .

      The book focuses on the 2015 benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation where acts like The Flaming Lips, Duran Duran, Moby or Angelo Badalamenti appeared on stage, interviewing each of them, but sadly not to a great deal of insight as everyone is very keen of explaining their connection to transcendental meditation instead and how it changed their approach towards music and art in general Fortunately after the propaganda paragraph for TM there are some essays added to the book, too, written [...]

      The essays are good, but like someone else mentioned most of the interview stuff is like a big advertisement for TM The photos are beautiful though.
